I recently began focusing on the diva's ends more and "dusting" them more often. I would say I dust her ends at least once a week or once every two weeks. Her hair tends to split easily at the ends I've noticed and to help control this, dusting is a great method.Dusting your ends or sometimes called search & destroy involves grabbing a small section of hair and looking for split or damaged ends and cutting them using hair shears right before the point of the split and/or damage. I take a section of about 10-15 strands of hair and go through that section and look for the damaged ends.You will not lose any length by doing this method as you are merely cutting the split end, this method is great to catch split ends or damaged ends before they travel up the hair shaft and cause further damage to your hair.
