Blended Beauty Review: Curl Styling Butter & Silk Shake Leave-In

Hello There and welcome to 2012

To start things off we have a Blended Beauty review!!!

I received the Curl Styling Butter

Ingredients: Aloe and Chamomile Water, Shea Butter, Rice Bran Oil, Natural Conditioners, Vegetable Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Capryl Isostearate, Soy Lecithin, Perfume, Guar Gum, Natural Preservative Optiphin, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Silk Powder.

Directions: Apply to clean damp, detangled hair in small sections and smooth through completely. Style with fingers, not a comb, to reduce poof

My Thoughts: Hands down the best butter I have tried! I love the smell and the thick and creamy texture. I used this on my hair just as the directions state on my ponytail.

I also received a bottle of the SilkShake Leave In Conditioner

Ingredients: Aloe Water, Vegetable Glycerine, Capryl Isostearate, Rice Bran oil , Natural Conditioner, Natural Preservative Optiphen, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Soy Protein, Silk Powder.

Directions:  Shake before each use. For detangling, spray onto hair generously and comb in small sections. To revive curls, spray on to curls from 6 inches away. Crunch or smooth curls with your fingers.

My Thoughts: The smell is heavenly the texture is light and creamy and I think this product works great at refreshing my curls and it provides the much needed moisture my hair needs, this combined with the curly butter makes for a very happy head of hair :)

Here is day 3 hair using only both products mentioned above:

Check out the definition! I didn’t add anything else to my hair nor did I even do anything else to it besides using the two products mentioned above :)

I wanted to see how this would work on my son’s curls and well see for yourself

Day 1: (I didn’t use that much product because I wasn’t sure how much I needed for his curls, I still like the results)

Day 2: ( I used more products and man his curls were poppin’ I LOVE THEM, so defined and soft and not mention his hair smelled yummy!)

  1. Is this for all hair types? It looks interesting and so now I'm wondering how it might work on my curly hair. Thanks for sharing about it because I'm always on the hunt for products to help me tame the lion's mane!

  2. Diva Locks says:

Their products are for all hair types, what's great is their website allows you to narrow down what products would be great for your hair type based on your curl pattern, so if you have loose curls or waves they'll tell you which products work best :)

Ooooh! Look at your son's curls–they are amazing!
