Shaklee Review #GetClean

I was thrilled when I was given the opportunity to review some of Shaklee’s amazing cleaning products. I am slowly but surely making changes in my life in effort to be more green.

Shaklee brings you a full line of natural nontoxic cleaning choices that are safe for you, your home, and the planet called Get Clean. The products contain no harmful   fumes or hazardous chemicals, and they outperform 20 national leading brands.

You would spend $3400 for ready to use cleaners to get the same amount of clean found in the Get Clean Starter Kit

The Get Clean kit features Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate – just 1/4 tsp. makes 16oz of all purpose cleaner for only 3cents!

I was amazed by how little of the cleaning product I needed to add to my 16oz of water to make my cleaning solution. I will admit I was a little skeptical of how well it would work. So I tested the All Purpose Cleaner out on my tile counter tops after I prepared lunch for my two little ones and I was AMAZED by how well cleaner worked. My counter tops shined and sparkled with just a few sprays and wipes :)

When you purchase the Get Clean Stater Kit you will be making a positive impact on the planet  by keeping 108 pounds of packaging waste from landfills and by eliminating 248 pounds of greenhouse gas.

Here is a picture of my cleaning products under my kitchen sink prior to Shaklee entering my life :)

I checked out the household data base and found that regular all purpose cleaner contained Citric Acid which was found to produce pain or “sting” and if a large quantity was splashed into the eye it could cause conjunctival reaction and ulceration of cornea resulting in extensive adherent leukoma. Yikes! I don’t even know what half of those words mean but I know they can’t be good :(

And here is my a picture of my cleaning products after Shaklee :)

  1. I didn’t but I have been making my own products for the last month

  2. Oh my word! this would be awesome! LOVE Shaklee! We use their Basic G and Basic H and laundry detergent. Wouldn’t use anything else! I use their products because of asthma and allergies. Highly recommend them.

  3. *sigh* Almost every ingredient in our current cleaning products are bad!

  4. I have been using baking soda as my main cleaning agent for a while now, but I would love to use something else. Shaklee would be a great change.

  5. Ashley C says:

We shamefully still have chlorine bleach (and a few others, but that’s our biggest culprit)

    Ammonia and bleach everywhere!

  11. I’m ashamed to say it, but I still have chlorine bleach in my house. I know I need to get rid of it, but I still haven’t! Thanks for the great givewaway!

  12. Caitlin says:

Chlorine bleach! I am working on “greening up” our cleaning supplies though!

  13. Michelle G says:

Yeah I must admit that all of our cleaning supplies are harmful, burn your nose to breathe while cleaning kinda bad.

  14. We still have products with some of these bad ingredients in them…we’re working on that though!

  15. I’venever tried Shaklee products before. I would love to try them.

  16. I’ve never used Shaklee products, and I used got my 1st apt/house & would love to try new cleaning products.

  19. Sheryl F says:

I LOVE Shaklee products, and have really been interested in trying their cleaning/household products! Thanks for this opportunity!

  20. Nope, but I switched over to all eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaners several years ago, so I knew I was good. I don’t really need a green cleaner makeover, but already love this brand and just want to try some of their products that I have yet to try! Hope that is OK!

  21. I am sad to say that I use the regular cleaners all the time and I don’t even want to know what is in them. Probably worse than the mess I am actually cleaning up!! I have tried to go more green in other areas in my house such as make-up, hair products and more organic foods. This would be a great way to get going on greener products for cleaning :)

  22. Erin Rok says:

I can’t even find the ingredients in my products. One bottle said call for ingredients, ill take this as a bad thing!!!

  23. Ammonia and I’d really like to start using more natural cleaners
