Blended Beauty: Review & Giveaway, Ends 12/08

Hey Guys!

Jalen recently decided to grow his hair again and have his curls, at first I thought oh cool, I love his curls! Then I though man now he is going to be using up my hair products again lol.

But luck must have been on my side because shortly after I was contacted by Blended Beauty to do a review of two of their products. Stacey is so wonderful to work with she picked up two awesome products that I love.

If you’ll recall I did a review on two other products from Blended Beauty that worked great!

This time around I was sent Curly Frizz Pudding

From the website:

A soft hold moisturizing gel lotion that defines and conditions curls, while nourishing the scalp and hair. Smooth and define each curl with natural conditioners. Absolutely no plastics! Only silky and bouncy curls…naturally! Curly Frizz Pudding has twice as much hold as the styling lotions and butters.

Ingredients:

Aloe and Chamomile Water, Shea Butter, Vegetable Glycerin, Rice Bran Oil, Capryl Isostearate, Natural Conditioner, Soy Lecithin, Guar Gum, Natural Preservative Optiphin, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Silk Powder.

Directions:

Apply to clean damp, detangled hair in small sections and smooth through completely. Style with fingers, not a comb, to reduce poof.

My thoughts:

I love it! The consistency is a creamy lotion, the smell is just right, not too strong, not too faint. It has a slight hold like a gel but with the crunch, flake or hard hold like a gel. It definitely moisturizes and defines curls and twists.

I was also sent Soft Curls & Swirls

From the website:

A light and gentle leave-in Moisturizer and conditioner for waves, curls, swirls and kinks. pH balanced for tender scalps, and tames that main! This daily conditioning cream is enriched with shea butter, aloe and chamomile, and leaves hair soft, smooth and in control.

Ingredients:

Aloe and Chamomile Water, Rice Bran Oil, Shea Butter, Natural Conditioners, Vegetable Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Capryl Isostearate, Perfume, Natural Preservative Optiphin, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Soy Lecithin, Silk Powder.

Directions:

Apply to clean, damp, detangled hair in small sections and smooth through completely. Style with fingers, not a comb, to reduce poof.

My Thoughts:

A nice thick creamy butter texture that goes on smoothly. It leaves your hair feeling so soft and moisturized without that greasy feeling. It pairs nicely with the Curly Frizz Pudding.

Check out our results using both products!
