GoOrganic Candies: Review & Giveaway!!! 3 Winners

Hey There :) Disclaimer: I received a variety of flavors of GoOrganic candies for the purpose of this review. However as always, all thoughts and opinions remain my own. Allow me to introduce you to a new way of enjoying hard and chewy candies. GoOrganic Candies are 100% organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, casein-free, nut-free and vegan (except Honey & Honey Lemon flavors) and allergen-friendly. All hard candies are produced in a nut-free facility, the chewy candies are manufactured in a facility that handles nuts, but the product itself is nut-free. There are sooooo many flavors to choose from that you are bound to find a flavor that everyone in your family will love. I had so many favorites it was so hard to choose. I absolutely loved the chewy candies, the variety of fruity flavors were great! My only wish was that they were colored differently, the shades of colors they come in made it very hard to determine what flavor I was eating. Luckily for me I … [Read more...]

Check Out My New Ink (3 New Tattoos)

Hey Guys! So if you didn't know already I love tattoos, I have about 7 of them now. But let me give you a little background on some of them first. My first ever tattoo is of this little guy   I was 16 when I got this butterfly tattoo on my back (shoulder blade) it used to be cute and full of color, but over the years the color faded and it just turned into something that I didn't like anymore. I had planned on covering it up for years but for no reason in particular I just never got around to doing it. So last weekend I found a new tattoo artist and went had this covered up along with some other work done. Here is what now covers that little sad butterfly   This pretty little black and grey hummingbird :) I love it! it's so pretty; I loved it so much I got it twice!   I had another hummingbird added to my other shoulder blade. The two birds represent my two little kiddos I have. I choose the hummingbird because they are not only pretty birds but they … [Read more...]

The truth of the matter is, head lice are common and can happen to any child. An estimated 6 to 12 million infestations occur each year in the U.S., which means many parents are likely to experience firsthand how lice can impact their children, families or friends.   Unfortunately, head lice are common in elementary schools – about one out of every 100 elementary school children becomes infested. Many parents may not know where to turn for accurate information.   Now here’s the good news: there is a website available to provide you … [Read more...]

Life of a Dancer: My 9 year old daughter

Hey Guys, Last night I took a couple of fun pictures of Jordyn to share with you all what she does around the house ALL day and night long. Please excuse the poor quality and bad lighting, it was night and I used my lame-o camera phone that doesn't have a flash. She has been dancing since she was 4 years old and competitively dancing since age 7, she lives breathe and eats dance and gymnastics! She taught herself how to do this varatition of an elbow stand by watching youtube videos. Lessons that I learned from my daughter: Never give up on your dreams, you can do anything you put your mind too and if there is no one to teach you how to do something learn to do yourself! Do you your kids teach you life lessons at their young age? Enjoy! … [Read more...]

A Shade Of Vampire: Book Review

Hey Guys, Fact about Tiffany: I am a reader, yep it's true I love to curl up with a good book like ALL the time. I've been into reading since I was kid, back then it used to be Goosebumps and Sweet Valley High books :) Now as an adult I enjoy all kinds of genres and books. Now you may have noticed that I've never once posted a book review on my site, why you might ask? Well because most books I read aren't really approperiate for a review on my family friendly site, not that I am reading bad stuff but they are more adult as in topics, language and so on.  Also I never wanted to get too much into reviewing books because it just opens the door for everyone to throw a book your way to review and I'm actually quite picky in what I read, I have to be interested to spend my time reading a book and then reviewing it on my site. So with that said I was recently contacted by an author, Bella Forest to review her debut book, A Shade Of Vampire. Page Count: 150 Release Date: … [Read more...]

All The Reasons Why I am A Crappy Mom #crappymom

As I was catching up on all of my fave blogs I came across two very interesting and honest posts by Melissa and Tiffany from Home Grown Families. They were both equally thought provoking and entertaining might I add so I thought to myself am I am crappy mom? I sure am! And here are all the reasons I am: I am not my kid's friend, I am their mother My husband and I are both strict disciplinarians (it's okay to feel sorry for our kids, our friends do : / ) When I cook dinner if they don't like it, there is no alternative or other options they go to bed hungry With that being said I don't cook dinner nearly often enough so on days that I don't cook they fend for themselves ie: sandwiches, frozen foods, quesadillas, etc) and I don't feel guilty one bit I swear in front of my kids and sometimes at them. I know it's horrible and I am trying to work on that, my mother cringes every time she hears it, my dad doesn't blink an eye probably because when I was growing up my mom … [Read more...]
