Finger Curls

So I saw someone use this technique over on lhcf and I wanted to try it out myself and see if it would work.I started on freshly washed and deep conditioned hair and I used Blended Beauty's Curl Styling Butter and sealed with Coconut Oil.First I put my hair in a high ponytail, then I grabbed small sections of hair and smooth it with my Conair brush.Then I just twisted the section of hair around my finger and held it for about 10 secondsThen I just let the hair fallAnd here are a couple of pics with my whole ponytail done and while my hair was still wet, it took about 15-20 min to do so not badHere is how my hair looked the next day completely dryAnd here is 2nd day hairI love the results, my curls were more defined and I had virtually no frizz :)Enjoy! … [Read more...]

Back To School Hair Style: 6 looks in 1

So I started with four ponytails going vertical down the middle of the diva heads and then added a few cornrows to each ponytail for a little pizazz :)The first look was just braided ponytailsThe next day we did look 2 a braid outThen for our day 3 look we made buns!I had to make the buns kinda tight because I needed to make it last all day at schoolFor our fourth look I did 3 strand twistsFor our fifth look we did a twist outFor our final look I alternated between doing buns and 3 strand twists on each of the four ponytailsWe got a good week out of this style which is great! Flat Twist Design & Twist Ponytail

It was hair time in our household so I wanted to give the diva something different and this thought popped into my head. I parted a rectangle section of hair on the top of her head then I made 3 angled parts within the rectangle section of hair and made flat twists that connected in a swirl pattern.
