I randomly came up with this fun easy nail art design

I started with one base coat by Revlon and finished with two coats of Revlon’s Top Coat

I applied two coats of Sally Hansen’s in Copper Glamour and used Wet N Wild Under Your Spell as my accent color. 

How I got the look:

I used a piece of tape (gift wrapping kid) and put on my nails at an angle and used 2 coats of the Wet N Wild polish. Once it dried I gently removed the tape and used my dotting tool to make the the dots.

I was browsing vid’s on YouTube  and came across this video by LaurDIY

I thought it was such a cool idea I decided to create one too!

I went to my local Dollar Tree and pick up two  glass jars/vases and two different sized tea light candle holders.

Total cost $4

Next I hot glued the jars/vases onto the tops of the tea light candles and then added some earth toned colored rocks I already had. The Dollar sells rocks too if you don’t have any on hand.

Then I stuck my brushes in and viola! All done and purdy

What do you guys think?

I think these would make great Christmas or birthday gifts!

My Thoughts: This shampoo thoroughly cleansed my hair without stripping of its natural oils, just what my curls needed   My scalp felt clean and there was no residue or product buildup left over, it rinsed out easily as well.

My Thoughts: This conditioner is thick and creamy and smells great! It glides on easily and provides enough “slip” my curls need to make detangling a breeze! I would definitely re-purchase this conditioner, it works great a rinse conditioner. My hair was left feeling so soft and silky it was hard to keep my hands out of it

Have a fun summer!

I wanted to try a bantu knot out style again on my natural hair, it’s been a long time since I tried it last.

So I started with damp hair and used my Shea Butter Mix and Eco Styler Olive Oil Gel, I made about 12 knots. I didn’t use anything to secure them I just wrapped the hair around itself and tucked it under.

So I’ve concluded that I don’t like this style on me. I don’t know if I am twisting the hair too tightly or what but it’s too hard to separate the twisted knots and even harder to detangle them. So I can pretty much say I won’t be doing this style again, ever.

I left the knots in over night and took them down using a little  coconut oil on my fingers.

Last night I took a couple of fun pictures of Jordyn to share with you all what she does around the house ALL day and night long.

Please excuse the poor quality and bad lighting, it was night and I used my lame-o camera phone that doesn’t have a flash.

She has been dancing since she was 4 years old and competitively dancing since age 7, she lives breathe and eats dance and gymnastics!

She taught herself how to do this varatition of an elbow stand by watching youtube videos.

Lessons that I learned from my daughter: Never give up on your dreams, you can do anything you put your mind too and if there is no one to teach you how to do something learn to do yourself!
