I used to actually blog about hair and stuff? Kinda the whole reason I started this blog to begin with?
Yeah it’s been WAY too long so let’s get back to that mkay?
This is the size I received
This 2oz jar retails for $7.00 on their website (see what I’m sayin’ about the best $10 investment EVER for Birchbox?) Anyhoo I loved it so much I bought myself a bigger jar when Miss Jessie’s was having an awesome sale that allowed me free shipping and 50% off. Normal retail price is $22 I got it for $11 with the sale. Can’t beat that with a baseball bat so I hopped on aboard and bought this size:
The smell is AMAZING!!! Like some delish treat I love it! The texture is a nice and semi thick creamy greatness. I love that this product provides great curl definition with a slight hold, it’s the best of both worlds.
I wanted to put this product to the test so I did a wash n go half up half down style, cause for some strange reason I can’t get my hair to look right when it’s all the way down in a wash n go so I have to settle for half up half down : / *sigh*
On to the pics, here is my hair still wet freshly co washed with Tresemme Naturals Condish and then with the Curly Meringue applied.
And here is a pic of my hair completely dry
So I loved my results, my hair did have a slight crunch on day one but that was okay it was gone by day two and I could have scrunched that out but I was being lazy, I rocked the style for 3 days total woot-woot!
I know some peeps don’t like Miss Jessie’s because of their prices and their ingredients but I did research on the ingredients and found they weren’t so bad, my hair loves it so that’s all that matters. Do what’s best for you, your wallet and your hair. Some things works great for some folks and sucks for others. Different strokes for different folks as they say.
Have you tried Miss Jessie’s Curly Meringue? Do you like, love or hate it?
