Springtime is almost here, and you know that means right?!?!? Well for some it may mean Spring Cleaning, or gardening or Spring Break planning, but for me it means shopping time! Time to update the household’s wardrobe with a few new fun colorful light pieces to match the loveliness outside!
For my kiddos I got my start on their Spring wardrobe at Cookie’s Kids this was my first time ever shopping on their site and I must tell I went in with eyes wide open, I wasn’t sure what to expect. To say I was pleasantly pleased would be an understatement, they have the most extensive and awesome selection of clothes ever!!!
Cookie’s Kids offers a wide range of clothing, shoes and accessories from many designers for both boys and girls. The company started in 1972 when Cookie and his brother Marvin went into business together. They started with a rented 1600 square foot store in Jamaica, Queens. In 2007 they added school uniforms to their inventory and launched CookiesKids.com, which originally just sold school uniforms and soon after included all of the Cookie’s Kids inventory. Today they have over six superstores in the NYC area along with their website.
After browsing the boys departments and searching through tons of different brands and styles I came across the perfect pair of jeans for Jalen. After his nod of approval we decided upon the LR Scoop “Bright Pick” Belted Jeans in Khaki color
Next luck was on my side when I found the perfect top to match! The Sahara Club Basic Pique Polo in Sky Blue
And you can stick a fork in him because he is done!
Now it’s time to show you guys what I got for my little dancing diva Jordyn 🙂 Now of course being a girl she has way more clothes than her brother so she didn’t need too much updating to her wardrobe but I did find the most perfect skirt for her to wear to a family Sunday dinner we always have in April.
Kids World “Pleated Pretty” Taffeta Bubble Skirt in Fuchsia.
I love this skirt because it can be dressed up or down and works for all year around!
Grand total for my complete purchase with shipping was just over $30, what a deal right?!
